It really does seem that all the easy, short-sighted decisions being made today may well obviate even wide-scale very hard choices for change made later on… that it’ll snowball to the point nothing can be done and right about then is when the Republicans will admit that there *might* be a problem.
The average American certainly doesn’t want to think about it. One day they’ll wake up and realize it’s important, but it may well be too late. It’s OK though, the administration is working on it… no, not *change* (what were you thinking?)… keeping Americans from putting much thought into the matter.
